The Bad Batch

Arlen is sent to a fenced-off wasteland where undesirables are exiled to when she is kidnapped by a group of cannibals. She escapes and ends up on a journey to reunite a missing girl with her father.

The Bad Batch has some elements of an independent film, especially in its unique genre blend and unconventional narrative. However, it was produced with significant backing from larger studios and distributed through a more mainstream distribution system. While it maintains an artistic, independent feel, its production and financing mean it's not strictly independent.
